www.ngs.org.uk National Garden scheme Every year NGS gardens across England and Wales welcomes over half a million visitors. Our tradition of opening gardens of quality, character and interest is supported by our Patron, HRH The Prince of Wales and our President, Zac Goldsmith. Most gardens which open for the NGS are privately owned and open just a few times each year. Others are open to the public on a regular or commercial basis and support the NGS in various ways. Some open as part of a group which gets the whole community involved

Gardens to Visit
"Only rarely does one come across a garden so ambitious and successful as the one at Veddw House ……this garden combines all the achievements of a great garden - excellent relationships between house and garden and between the garden and its surroundings, a satisfying blend of formality and informality and of wildness and control, good use of colour and texture, and a distinct personality." Stephen Anderton, "The Times"

Penpergwm Lodge. A unique opportunity to experience the peace and tranquility of a beautiful RHS-listed garden with Edwardian origins in rural Monmouthshire, and a nursery of special plants. To make the most of a visit, and to enjoy the surrounding Usk Valley and nearby Brecon Beacons National Park, do come and stay in Catriona & Simon Boyle's very comfortable B&B rooms.
